Additional Notes | Withdrawn 1960, at Tees Dock until P 1974. Now owned by LNERCA and resident on North Yorks Moors Railway. Coach complete, but needed major refurbishment. With 23956, awarded £125,000 HLF restoration grant 08/00. Externally complete and fully re-varnished by 04/03. Toilet details yet to be finalised. Received significant damage in incident at Grosmont 11/11. To Rampart at Barrow Hill by 12/12 for completion of underframe repairs. Back to NYMR by 07/13: awaiting revarnishing and a few minor jobs before returning to service. |
