Additional Notes | 660 volt 4 rail. With 258 (qv) latterly (ca. 1960) formed two-car de-icing unit, then Sandite unit. Believed to be last surviving examples of T Stock. The two P 1987 by N Downs Railway: at Stone Lodge, Dartford until 1996 where this vehicle went into service in 1995. Then to Spa Valley Railway where overhauled by 2003, including being fitted with replacement seats and repainted in LT 'Bullock Maroon' livery; used for some time as passenger carrying stock. Both P 2015 by Quainton Railway Society and at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, Quainton Road. 11/15: awaiting further restoration. By 08/19: some cosmetic refurbishment work carried out (see main photo). |
