Additional Notes Specialist Departmental vehicle, built new (57 ft as per BG). Originally inspection saloon; converted by BR in mid-1980s to track recording car. 2001: Serco further modified it when a generator set was installed. Original bogies replaced by B4 type P 05/15 and to Williton, West Somerset Railway for assessment of costs of overhaul and restoration back to inspection saloon. By 11/17: overhaul complete; livery changed to BR maroon. 08/20: offered for sale. By 11/20: moved from West Somerset Railway to Rowden Mill Station, Herefordshire.
