Additional Notes P 1981. To Midland Railway Centre, Butterley 23 June 1981. Fire damaged Oct/Nov 1996. Also brake end gangway damaged in a shunting incident. Rectification work started but never completed. Stored at Swanwick Junction. For sale/disposal by 11/09. c.08/10: moved to Epping & Ongar. 06/16: undergoing restoration at Ongar. 2023: moved to Barrow Hill for further stage of restoration work. 01/24: returned to Epping Ongar Railway: during the restoration, the 1st class compartments were replaced by more 2nd class compartments, so the carriage is effectively now a Brake Corridor Second (BSK).
