Additional Notes Intended original number, which Longworth states this to have been 53081, never carried following change in numbering policy. Withdrawn 1965, sold to Longmoor Military Railway. P 1970, at Longmoor till 1971 then Eastleigh till 1973. In poor condition. Seating dismantled. For sale by 06/06. By 07/12: to Cranmore Traincare for overhaul, completed by 05/13 - repainted into maroon livery, carrying number 43289. 04/19: will be paired with 43043 (qv) in use on Mountsorrel branch line.
