Additional Notes Originally LNER CL (later 88030) In 1959 BR Doncaster rebuilt it to Prototype bogie CCTY 96202E (Lot 30674, Diag 817) (Added end doors and re-skin) W/d 1965, then departmental stores Eastleigh. P 1991 by RVP member. Body completed reskinned and restored to maroon 1960s condition. Lettered one side 'London-Newcastle Car Carrier'. 09/07 OOU Swithland awaiting paintwork, but is serviceable. Behind steel cladding, original passenger timber windows and doors still in place. (Authenticity notes to BR rebuild)
