Based in Italy 1925-8 for Milan-Nice service. 1928: purchased by Pullman Car Company; relocated back to UK; rebuilt as Parlour car by Midland Railway Carriage & Wagon Company; renamed PRINCESS ELIZABETH. 11/50: remodelled at the Pullman Car Company workshops at Preston Park, Brighton to Guard's Parlour First and re-named ISLE OF THANET for use in the 'THANET BELLE' Pullman service. 30/01/65: part of formation of Sir Winston Churchill's Funeral Train (final vehicle on journey from Waterloo). P 1968: to NRM at Green Bay Wisconsin via 'Flying Scotsman' 1969 tour. Repatriated 11/00 and to Carnforth for repairs to running gear & repainting. 02/20: still at Carnforth. By 12/23: at Kent and East Sussex Railway.
