Additional Notes 5-BEL. 750 v 3rd rail. Car D. P 1972 by Trumans, but stored till donated to Chappel 1980; loan to Swanage from 5/82 till to VSOE 8/91. Motors removed pre preservation. vacuum brakes fitted prior to use on Swanage Railway. Sheeted by 2/03. At Stewarts Lane until to Rampart C&W Services, Derby by 06/09 - now owned by 5BEL Trust. To Bluebell by 07/10 where on display for their 08/10 50th Anniversary celebrations. By 03/11 to Barrow Hill for work on bogies, electrics, brakes etc. Repainted ca. 05/12 and briefly to York for Railfest event: now carries name "Diamond Jubilee" and fictional set number 3050. By 12/17: from Barrow Hill to W H Davis at Langwith Junction for further restoration work. 12/19 moved to Crewe LNWR Heritage site for thorough electrical and compatibility testing prior to a move to Eastleigh; 5BEL Trust has allocated the new identity 'Beryl' to this vehicle.
