By 08/19: purchased by Assenta Rail and moved to the Earnock Sidings / E G Steele site in Hamilton. 07/23: being converted for use in revised formation for The Royal Scotsman Train. 29/04/24: entered service with The Royal Scotsman as the new State Car No 1 (directly replacing 99961); now contains two Grand Suites plus a mid-car double; the Car is known to staff at ‘Magpie’. |
