Additional Notes Type D. P 1978 NRM. Has been stored for a while - some signs of deterioration on tables giving indication of succumbing to external storage. From York to Carnforth 02/06 for asbestos removal as a preliminary for restoration - which was completed by 05/12. Substantially rebuilt: as built, seated 24 but a BR refurbishment altered this to 29; WCRC have rebuilt it as seating 36 with six bays 4+2 layout. 02/20: confirmed still based at Carnforth and in charter/railtour use.
