Additional Notes Car C. P 1979 and mounted on B4 bogies. Restaurant at 'The Avon Causeway' Hotel (former Hurn Station, near Bournemouth). Stained glass windows. Interior completely rebuilt as dining area with small bar and non-original toilets at one end. When seen 02/12 now repainted in cream and dark green rather than Pullman cream and umber, separated by gold lining. "Pullman" and "Car No. 340" appear on the side away from the (former) platform, but not on the platform side. Windows have coloured glass carrying legend "Orient Restaurant". Vehicle continues to be well looked after.
