Additional Notes W 1925 after which body used as holiday accommodation on caravan site at Cayton Bay, North Yorkshire until 1990. Then on farm at West Knapton, Malton. By 02/03, with (and on) underframe of GER 2163 (qv) ex Starbeck to private site at Elvington Airfield. By 2009 to purpose-built outhouse near Dawnay Arms, Newton on Ouse, York. 05/17: restoration and fitting out now well in hand (see additional photo below). By 06/22: restoration now complete; featured in ITV programme 'Million Pound Pawn' series 2 episode 3, transmitted on 23 June 2022 - the owners rejected an offer of £1.1 million for the carriage. PLEASE NOTE: this vehicle is not accessible or visible to the public.
