Additional Notes | Body P Mid Suffolk Railway by 1994; on original steel underframe. One end substantially complete with four windows. Used as Shop. Research shows this may have been built at Stratford under an LNER order to a NE Diagram. Unique and unusual pattern of original hand rails. To Whitwell & Reepham (Norfolk) 06/12 where placed on 4-wheeled BR tube wagon underframe. To Stainmore Railway, Kirkby Stephen, 06/14. 08/18: a good deal of restoration work has been undertaken, including repairs to body panels - as shown in latest photos - and next task is the roof. Longer term intention is to introduce a middle axle and make it a 6-wheeler once again. By 07/22: now mounted on underframe from LMS 40284 (qv). |
