From 2003: out-berthed at Old Oak Common as part of Riviera sets; then base moved to Old Oak Common in 2008 and to Eastleigh in 2009 - in operational use throughout this period. 2013: moved to Cranmore, East Somerset Railway for storage pending overhaul/sale. Sold to Locomotive Services in 2014, moving to Crewe by 10/15. Overhauled at Crewe: Commonwealth bogies replaced with B4s; seating reduced to 32 to create space for a servery area; livery changed from BR(W) chocolate and cream to BR crimson lake and cream. |
