Additional Notes Commonwealth bogies. When initially acquired from BR, it was in Maroon livery and vacuum braked. P 1997 by Wessex Trains, initially based at Mid Hants Railway. In 1998 Wessex Trains base changed to Crewe Carriage Shed. In 1999 moved to West Coast Railway Company, Carnforth and air-brakes fitted, making it dual-braked. In 2000 painted into BR(S) Green as intended for use as support coach to 34067 TANGMERE although initially loaned to Thompson B1 Locomotive Society for use with 61264. To East Lancs by 07/01. Then moved to Old Oak Common with 34067 TANGMERE by 05/03. Sold to Ian Riley Engineering by 07/05. As support coach to LORD NELSON, to West Somerset 08/06; East Lancs; North Norfolk; Mid Hants 04/09 in BR(S) livery. Reported 01/12 at Yeovil Railway Centre, Yeovil Junction, in BR Crimson Lake and Cream livery, then 01/13 at Southall. In use as support coach for 60019 A4 BITTERN - seen as such at Barrow Hill 02/14. At Mid Hants by 01/15. At Crewe LNWR 04/16. 06/19: now used as support coach for locomotives nos 34046/46100/70000. By 05/22: now in main Locomotive Services Ltd operational fleet.
