Additional Notes | To internal user 12/83. 'Hidden' with other vehicles at Wakefield Kirkgate Engineers Yard from ca. 1983. 2001: recovered and donated to LMS Carriage Association - then moved to Rowsley South. By 2016: being restored by LMSCA at Rowsley. 12/17: restoration complete (see main and third additional photos); to be used by LMSCA as an upholstery/trimming workshop (original electrics work, although LED lighting has been added to increase illumination and mains electric connectivity for its workshop use). It will be mainly static, but could be used in a demonstration freight train - would require brake overhaul before being used on passenger trains. 12/21: confirmed still in situ. |
