Additional Notes On privatisation in the mid 1990s, passed to Flying Scotsman Railways, latterly Rail Charter Services in c 1995. During 1999 it was painted into BR blue/grey livery. During 2002 it was painted into BR(S) green livery. Based at Bounds Green until acquisition of the bulk of Rail Charter Services rolling stock by English Welsh and Scottish Railway resulted in transfer to Old Oak Common in 2004. To store at Old Oak Common 2005. Acquired by Riviera Trains in 2007. Repainted into BR crimson lake and cream livery 2008 but remained stored at Old Oak Common until its closure in 2009 - then to Eastleigh Arriva TrainCare and later Eastleigh Works. 2011: returned to operational use. By 07/19: in BR(W) chocolate and cream livery. 02/22: offered for sale. 04/22: moved from Eastleigh Works to Nemesis Rail, Burton upon Trent. By 11/24: custodianship transferred from Riviera Trains to West Coast Railway Company and moved from Nemesis Rail, Burton upon Trent to Carnforth.
