Additional Notes Mk 2f TSO; converted 1974 to prototype self-service buffet for APT-P. To Northern Ireland Railways 1983, regauged to 5' 3". When withdrawn, repatriated c.12/02 and regauged as No. 1800. Overhauled by Lancastrian Carriage & Wagon at Heysham Business Park, Middleton, near Heysham for inclusion in 2003 in Wessex Trains 'Excalibur Express'; then to Old Oak Common c.05/03. RESCO registered for main line running. Moved with Wessex Trains to Carnforth 2008, still in 'Excalibur Express' set. Sold to WCRC 2011; Excalibur set disbanded and this vehicle repainted from pseudo-Pullman to West Coast Railways maroon and 'Tintagel' name removed. By 02/17: at Southall Depot (West Coast Railway part), stored pending further use/disposal. Whilst there ownership passed from WCRCo to Steam Dreams, then to Locomotive Services Ltd when ownership of Steam Dreams changed. 08/22: moved from Southall to Peak Rail for storage. 12/23: confirmed still in situ.
