Additional Notes One of 15 30 ft 1 in picnic saloons built Wolverton 1894 (181-195). Renumbered 5189 1910, renumbered 10671 (LMS) 1928. Withdrawn ca 1930/31. 2004: moved from Selston, Nottinghamshire (after being used there as a private residence since 1944) to Royal Deeside - at Echt, 12 miles West of Aberdeen. To Milton of Crathes by 19/06/11. By 05/16: sheeted and on LMS 4-wheel CCT underframe (qv) - at permanent way yard towards Banchory - see additional photo below. 10/16: restoration project began. By 10/20: now under cover (and no longer on CCT underframe) while restoration project continues. Plan is to use the saloon for weddings, celebrations and corporate events when restoration is complete. 05/22: reported to be at Echt once more, where restoration continues at a private site.
