Additional Notes | On lengthened LSWR 51 ft underframe ex-BT 2869 (qv), Casevac Train 34/334 WW2. W1961. Given Pullman livery in 1962: carried Churchill's coffin after State Funeral on 30/01/1965. P 1966 at 'Industry Halls Centre', Los Angeles. Repatriated via Southampton 09/07: to Cranmore, then by 05/10 to Swanage Railway. Intended to form part of museum display at Corfe Castle. By 07/14 in use as C&W store. 01/15: on display at NRM York as part of the "Churchill's Final Journey" display. Later to NRM Shildon. 09/19: moved - on loan - to Locomotive Storage Ltd site at Westwood, Margate (part of Hornby works, being planned for a future public railway heritage attraction to be called the One Collection.
