Additional Notes South Eastern and Chatham Railway design. Narrow profile (for Hastings line), matchboard, continental boat train stock. P 1962 for Westerham branch scheme, but stored until sold to KWVR in 1965. To VCT 07/72. New moquette, to original design. Replacement bogies ex EMU stock. On display in VCT Museum, Ingrow when not in operational use. Refurbished 2010-11, including repaint to BR crimson lake and cream livery. 02/11: again available for service. 05/18: repainted into full BR maroon livery for Keighley and Worth Valley Railway 50th Anniversary events. 2021: used in production of 'Railway Children Return' film. 09/23: being repainted into Southern Railway malachite green.
