Additional Notes Body built at British Leyland Workington. Vehicle completed 10/80 at Wickhams at Ware. Tested at Old Dalby Test Track, then trialled in the USA, then to Steamtown Museum. After decision by them to scrap it, saved by the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad, then sold to the Connecticut Trolley Museum. Again for sale by 02/05: but by 04/09 restoration progressing (with help from local Technical College) and may be operational by Autumn 09. Interior in good condition, other than one cab and minor roof leak. Engine has been repaired. Also needs painting! However, by 10/10 reported as not appropriate to the Connecticut collection and for sale: purchase price agreed by a UK-based group with repatriation intended. 08/24: confirmed scrapped.
