Additional Notes 01/06: intended to form part of Riviera's new VIP set, to be based at Crewe Carriage Shed - but seen 09/06 on hire to Virgin Trains. Then in store at Old Oak Common until its closure. Suffered severe brake problems whilst working a railtour on 13 December 2013: detached from train at Leamington Spa station and remained there (in north bay platform) until at least 01/15. 04/16: back in operational use as part of the Riviera Trains excursion fleet based at Eastleigh Arriva TrainCare and later at Nemesis Rail, Burton upon Trent. By 08/19: livery changed from Virgin Trains (see additional photos below) to BR rail blue and pearl grey. By 11/24: custodianship transferred from Riviera Trains to West Coast Railway Company and moved from Nemesis Rail, Burton upon Trent to Carnforth.
