Additional Notes Built at Eastleigh on frames from Ashford. Initially built for Liverpool Street lines electrified at 1500 V DC; modified (c.1960-62) when power supply changed to 6.25/25 kV. Originally DTSOL; refurbished as DTCOL c.1983; then converted to a Propelling Control Vehicle (PCV) in 1994 by Hunslet Barclay in Kilmarnock - given TOPS code NAA and used to reverse a mail train from a terminus without a locomotive run-round. W 2004, then P Mid Norfolk Railway by 04/09.
