Additional Notes 32 ft First Class Saloon: 1 of 10 built (346 to 355). "348" appears in pencil on inside faces of some door panels: "2741" (MR, post 1902) also found on internal luggage door trim. Date of build thought to be 1885 but further research required. Withdrawn and converted into a dwelling in Mossley in 1930s. P 1976 at Foxfield Railway, intended to go on SR PMV underframe. To LMSCA 05/05 at Rowsley on long-term loan in poor condition. Restoration of body and existing internal fittings completed by 2008. Used by LMSCA for meetings and available for viewing by appointment. Sheeted by 03/13. 09/21: moved from Rowsley back to Foxfield Railway - now mounted on underframe from SR PMV 1703 (qv).
