Additional Notes | Acquired privately ex BR Consett pre 1977, loaned to Knebworth 1982-7 to house relics. 836 may be a later number. Tanfield ref 0064. 08/05: new roof sheeting applied, but little else done to protect from further deterioration. 06/24: moved from Tanfield Railway to Quainton Road (with the help of a fund raising effort by the Great Northern Railway Society members): now under cover to dry out before stripping down; restoration will then be carried out by Quainton Road volunteers, supported by further fund raising by GNRS individual members. |
