At Levisham, North Yorks Moors Railway: restoration restarted Summer 1999, steadily proceeding. Cladding off on one side when seen 04/03: painted red/cream both sides and no longer sheeted by 05/06. When seen 04/13: restoration well in hand; underframe very good but bogies still in unrestored condition; many interior components available but most still to be fitted. 07/19: temporary move from North Yorkshire Moors Railway - for around 2 years - to undercover storage facility at RSR Northeast Ltd, Spennymoor whilst new carriage shed is constructed at Pickering; move gives the LNERCA an opportunity to recommence restoration work if funding can be found. 06/22: moved back to North Yorkshire Moors Railway from Spennymoor. 12/22: ownership transferred from NER Coach Group to LNER Coach Association. 06/23: main photo shows completed restoration. |
