Additional Notes | W 1884, sold by NER to Forcett Limestone Company in 1884. At York Museum; then Beamish in 1960s. Restored by BREL at Shildon 1975 and displayed at Rail 150 Exhibition at Shildon Works. Returned to Beamish where it suffered by being stored outside. By 09/86: at Timothy Hackworth Museum, Shildon and then NRM Shildon. LNER livery, seat & floor coverings: may not resemble the original. Rainstrips/gutter lost, when roof re-covered? By 02/12: moved for restoration work to Stanegate Restorations & Replicas, Haltwhistle. 04/13: returned to Beamish and at the Pockerley Wagonway for final mechanical overhaul work, followed by lettering and numbering. |
