Additional Notes | Withdrawn 1961 for ScR Control Train; P Quainton Road 1980 but in store at MOD Bicester until 1982. Only example with entry to compartments via end vestibules. As acquired by Quainton Road, it retained 5 of the original compartments plus one of the toilets; 2 of the shallow vent windows had been removed and replaced with a set of double doors. Was owned by Quainton Railway Society: private owner by Spring 2000. Under restoration by 07/12. To Weardale by 11/15. |
