Additional Notes Semi-open. Was one Brake of 6-car Bournemouth Restaurant set 298 (other Brake was S4366S at Swanage - qv). W 1966 and to Army, MoD Bicester. P 1985 Much of interior and exterior stripped for restoration, Summer 2004: to Rampart (Derby) 09/05 for mechanical work: back to Swanage 08/06 for continued restoration, virtually completed by 01/12. By 07/22: moved from Swanage Railway to Locomotive Storage Ltd site at Westwood, Margate (part of Hornby works, being planned for a future public railway heritage attraction to be called the One:One Collection). By 03/25: moved from Margate to Swanage Railway. 08/25: seen on site at Margate.
