The third prototype railbus. BR built: worked in Bristol area 10/81 to 06/82. To NIR 1982: regauged, used on Coleraine-Portrush line. W 12/92. Loaned to Cultra from 09/93, then to Downpatrick 03/01. Had been operational, but minor attention needed when seen 10/04. 05/03/11: last ran under its own power when it failed and was rescued by GM Diesel 146; subsequently carried passengers on a few occasions - hauled by a tamper - until 18/11/12. 06/23: offered for sale. 01/24: donated to Gwendraeth Valley Railway but not yet moved. 06/25: moved from Downpatrick to Gwendraeth Valley Railway. |
