Additional Notes Chassis from Midland Railway six-wheel carriage built between 1884 and 1895. Re-bodied in 1930 as a covered carriage truck (CCT) No 35239 to diagram D1872 in lot 532. P 1982. Ex Granville Colliery, Donnington. At Telford Steam Railway still in ex-Departmental unrestored condition 10/03. No buffers. By 05/23: body dismantled at Telford and chassis acquired by East Somerset Railway for future project. Wooden chassis found to be in poor condition when received and much rebuilding has taken place. Metalwork now being installed and new buffers being made. Springs all renewed. 08/25: plan now is to mount MR 1574 (qv) on this underframe.
