Half of a Metropolitan Rigid 8-wheeler. Purchased by IoW in 1914. W/drawn around 1928. Originally grounded at Ryde. Then rebuilt at a local farm in the 1990s, then mounted on road trailer. To stables near Brading, then Yarmouth Mill. 05/25: confirmed still in situ - behind Yarmouth Mill which is in use as letting accommodation. |
