Body P 2011 at Whitwell and Reepham Railway Station - from Syderstone, near Fakenham, Norfolk. 05/18: plan is to restore the body and mount it on an underframe based on the chassis from former ICI Billingham ammonia tanker PO 7124, the body of which has now been scrapped (see entry for this vehicle in Wagon Survey). Moved from Whitwell and Reepham Railway Station to Corner Farm, Rattlesden - no longer mounted on tanker underframe. 02/25: confirmed still in situ - long term restoration work by private owner under way (although it is reported that this will not necessarily be to original condition). |
