Built 06/1907 for Norfolk Coast Express set. LNER 62377; Conductor Guard's vehicle in 1940s. Withdrawn from public service 01/1955 and adapted at Stratford for use as Norwich Civil Engineer's Department painters gang coach - numbered DE320325 from 4/1955. Withdrawn 1966 and purchased for preservation in 1967 jointly by the Railway Preservation Society, M&GN Preservation Society and the Great Eastern Railway Group and since then in store on the North Norfolk Railway at Sheringham. 03/26: plans being made for restoration back to original condition. |
