Prior to 08/2005 survey: lengthened and extra metal added. 04/25: purchased from private owner and moved from Tanfield Railway where it was last based; purchased as a donor vehicle to provide three wheel sets, six axleboxes, six axleguards, four buffers, four buffer spindle guides and a complete set of drawgear, plus possibly sections of brakegear, which may be re-useable; the remainder of the vehicle will be scrapped, the underframe structure now assessed as severely compromised by the modifications identified in the earlier survey.
