Additional Notes Built 07/1911. Condemned at Swindon 27/03/54 but then rebuilt as service vehicle 309 by 02/55 - including replacement of original wood panelling. Latterly Tool Van for Worcester breakdown train. P 1981 GW Steam Locomotives Group; on Gloucs-Warks till 1989 then Llangollen as a tool van. Swindon by 1996; to Oswestry 6/99. 11/03: to Cambrian Heritage Railway, Llynclys - still in ex-Departmental condition. For sale by 06/14. Repainted by 12/14 - still as Worcester breakdown train tool van. By 05/16: at West Bay station, Bridport, Dorset (first additional photo shows it after arrival) and then converted for use as a restaurant in association with the occupiers of the station (see main photo). 05/26: confirmed still in situ.
