Additional Notes Withdrawn 1961 for Eastern Region Mobile Control Train (for use in the event of future hostilties): heavily modified for use as generator car by removing most of compartment partitions and installing double doors. P 1980 by Resco Railways but stored in Doncaster until 1984, then to Carnforth. Externally restored, much yet to be done internally. Corridor survives, but compartments opened up for Control Train use. External handbrake on underframe. To North Yorks Moors Railway by 05/10. 07/19: temporary move - for around 2 years - to undercover storage facility at RSR Northeast Ltd, Spennymoor whilst new carriage shed is constructed at Pickering; move gives the LNERCA an opportunity to recommence restoration work if funding can be found. 01/21: funding secured for completion of restoration: reinstating toilet partitions; renovating / replacing corridor screening; fitting compartment partitions. 06/21: moved from RSR Northeast Ltd premises at Spennymoor to LNERCA's unit at Kirby Misperton. 07/25: main body frame repaired and compartment partitions built.
