Rebuilt 1996 by Essex Support Group of Lynton & Barnstaple Railway. Restored by 7/04 at Mangapps. Body built onto new underframe (1994). By 12/08 to Great Yeldham for refurbishment. Awaiting bogie wheelsets. Brand new underframe built by Ffestiniog Railway Boston Lodge Works and to Great Yeldham 05/12. Previous underframe dismantled for other use. Completed, to Lynton & Barnstaple Railway and in use by 05/13. In service as part of the 'Vintage Train'. 11/16: seen at Woody Bay. 08/25: moved off site for repair work on weather-damaged solebar. |
