Additional Notes Was privately owned at East Anglian Railway Museum. To NYMR 08/02, with Agreement with LNERCA and NYMR for restoration and use in passenger trains. Sheeted and at Pickering sidings by 04/03. Sold to Epping Ongar Railway and moved to that Railway 05/14; seen sheeted at Ongar by 08/15 and again at 04/18 - see additional photo below. 03/22: offered for sale. 06/22: purchased by Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway Society. c.06/23: moved to Lee Sharp's workshops at Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, Wirksworth for contract restoration of the body structure and external/internal paneling, to be returned to owners as a watertight "restored shell"; timber side and end panels replaced by Aluminium Composite Panels for future longevity; former toilets to be replaced by an extra four seats. 09/24: moved to a private site in Derbyshire by the contractor for restoration to continue. 05/26: contracted works continuing with carriage expected to move back to North Norfolk Railway later in 2026. Plans are to complete interior and mechanical restoration in-house before it joins the proposed 5-coach 1950's era LNER set, numbered as 16631.
