Additional Notes Allocated to Southern Region. Used in Ocean Liner Express by 1966. Used in consist of the Royal Train which carried the body of Louis, the late Earl Mountbatten of Burma from Waterloo to Romsey on the 5th September 1979 - hence the name now applied following restoration. P 1982 from storage at Basingstoke. Privately owned and at Mid Hants (used in Watercress Belle train in simplified Pullman livery) until sold to Carnforth in 1998. To the Hound Inn, Arlecdon, Cumbria and in use there as a restaurant by 02/03 - repainted in BR(S) green livery. To garden stone stockists Messrs Bannold, Capability Barns, Fen Drayton in 08/13 and at 07/14 being refurbished there as part of a tea room, which opened for business on 13/02/2018 under the name Carriages of Cambridge. 12/25: confirmed still in situ.
