Additional Notes Withdrawn 1961 for use in BR Eastern Region Control Train as Office Coach. P 1980. Converted at Embsay to high standard: complete but sympathetic change of use in style of LNER 1st Class vehicle. By 05/06: moved to North Yorks Moors Railway (NYMR) and repainted 'teak'; further internal reconfiguration carried out; carried legend 'Restaurant Car' and used as 'The Ryedale Bar'. 29/10/19: to Ecclesbourne Valley Railway (reported at that time to be a permanent move by the owner at the end of the contract with the NYMR). 05/23: moved to a private site at Kirby Misperton, near Pickering. Early 2025: moved to Barrow Hill for a full mechanical overhaul by Rampart Engineering. By 12/25: moved back to LNER Coach Association workshop at Kirby Misperton where further restoration work is in progress to take it back to as-built configuration.
