Gutted as Exhibition coach. P 1969: dormitory coach till 1988. Interior from 7571 stored within. Last survivor. Stored OOU Eardington 10/99: then to Bridgnorth for restoration, completed 09/09 to high standard of accuracy and finish. Restored to 1934 fully gold-lined livery with non-serif 7511. In regular use in SVR's Sunday dining service. Winning coach for Heritage Railway Association's Carriage & Wagon Competition 2010, presented 09/12): 'A first class restoration earning its living in dining service'. 10/12: currently operating in Sunday-only 'Severn Valley Venturer' dining set, so stabled in open at Bridgnorth. 10/2013 - at Kidderminster as special service vehicle. |
