Diagram B185? Converted to electrification workshop vehicle. Condemned pre 10/93. Noted at Millerhill and then to Brechin Railway, Bridge of Dun by 11/00. Body noted as in very poor condition. Sold to Isle of Wight Steam Railway: body scrapped and underframe moved 05/10. All underframe electrical equipment missing. Handbrake on one bogie. Since the date of the photo above, the underframe has been used under a grounded body (LCDR 232/666 / SR 4134 - qv) placed on it for storage. By 07/20: no longer carries the body of LCDR 232/666. 07/21 - now 'for sale' and likely to be scrapped if not sold by 22nd August. 07/22: sold to Peak Rail and placed on top of the frame of LNWR 2997 (qv) for storage at Rowsley (see additional photo below). 05/25: frame confirmed still in situ on frame of LNWR 2997. |
