Additional Notes Built 03/1888. Withdrawn 01/03/1917. Grounded in garden of private house at Stapleton, nr Darlington. Internal partitions removed. 2019: moved to Kirkby Stephen East. By 07/22: plan is now to use underframe from GER Royal Saloon 8 (qv) as permanent chassis for this vehicle. 03/26: following an investigation phase that revealed how remarkably sound the vehicle is, actual restoration has begun.
