Design code AB101. C.1995: with Flying Scotsman Railways, latterly Rail Charter Services - painted into the WCJS lined purple lake livery - based at Bounds Green. During 1998: painted into blue/gey livery. During 2001: painted into SR Green livery. 2004: moved to Old Oak Common when acquired by EWS (with bulk of Rail Charter Services rolling stock). 2007: acquired by Riviera Trains. 2009: painted crimson lake and cream. 2010: transferred to Eastleigh Depot. 06/13: now based at Tyseley as support coach for 4936 'Kinlet Hall' - and, as such, travelled extensively: e.g. 10/13 was at the Severn Valley Railway; 05/16 at West Somerset. By 12/17: at South Devon Railway and no longer 4936 support coach. Date unknown: moved from South Devon Railway to Tyseley. 11/21: moved from Tyseley to Rampart Engineering at Barrow Hill, having been acquired by the BR Class 8 Steam Locomotive Trust for use as the support coach for 71000 'Duke of Gloucester'. 05/22: returned to Tyseley following completion of overhaul by Rampart Engineering. 01/24: internal fit-out in progress, in preparation for use as 71000 'Duke of Gloucester' support coach. By 12/25: now in use as 71000 'Duke of Gloucester' support coach. |
