Additional Notes P 1976 by M&GNJRS, partly restored at Norwich Victoria till 1979. 08/02: repainting into BR crimson lake and cream livery for use with photo charters completed. Interior repaint in hand Summer 2003. By 08/11: in BR maroon livery, converted internally as a children's play coach. By 04/17: in BR crimson lake and cream livery on one side again, only to be returned to maroon in 2020. Use as a children's coach ceased during Covid pandemic, used as a store 2020-2025, then coach moved into storage awaiting full restoration. Restoration plan not fully confirmed, but likely to be contract restoration of the body structure and external/internal paneling, to be returned to owners as a watertight "restored shell"; timber side and end panels to be replaced by aluminium composite panels for future longevity. Previous plans to convert to a Composite now being reconsidered in favour of authentic Corridor Third configuration - to eventually be the fifth vehicle in the proposed 5-coach 1950s era LNER set numbered as 12493.
