Additional Notes LMSR Period II carriage. Numbered 15509 until 1933. Converted 1962 to staff/dormitory accommodation for crane. To Mid Hants 1991. To Llangollen 1992 for restoration as replica Period II Buffet Car No 40 (Dgm 1848; the only one built in that Period). No '8820' was for insurance purposes. At Carrog Station. One corridor end blanked off. By 12/23: body scrapped on site at Carrog, Llangollen Railway; underframe only remains. 07/25: underframe moved from LLangollen to Peak Rail (at Rowsley).
