Built by Midland Railway (number now thought to be 1574) - either Lot 112 (1884) or 142 (1885) or 166 (1887). Sold to Brecon and Merthyr Tydfil Junction Railway in 1920. Later GWR 4317 (number carried internally). W 04/1928 then forming part of accommodation. Grounded on private property at Armscote, Warwickshire - see 2017 additional photo below. 08/25: moved from Armscote to Cranmore, East Somerset Railway - plan is to mount it on underframe of MR 5657 (qv) when that has been restored. |
